My historical take away from last night’s Democratic convention. Joe Biden’s main emphasis was that he can restore hope in a time of darkness and that he is an ally of the light not the dark. Is that not just another way of saying Make America Great Again? To him Trump is the darkness and he will bring the light. America has failed and he will fix everything. Trump has ruined the nation and he will make America great again. Same message different words. Yet with Trump it was seen as hateful, but with Biden it is seen as hopeful. This is the same campaign that almost every candidate has used against an incumbent president. They have to. If they say things are great now, why would anyone vote for them?
